The Role

Chat Automator, an exciting new startup led by founder Shaun Phillips, is seeking a part-time, enthusiastic and motivated intern for a summer internship role. This opportunity is ideal for those between the ages of 18-24, particularly individuals who may be unsure of their career direction or lacking the necessary experience.

The successful candidate will be working closely with Shaun Phillips on several pioneering projects that incorporate chatbot and IT technology for marketing automation, sales, and customer service. In addition, the intern will have the chance to learn about affiliate marketing and potentially explore video editing for social media.

This unpaid part-time internship is designed to provide substantial experience and skill-building. While the role is mostly unpaid, there may be opportunities to earn a share of the profits generated by the projects that the intern contributes value to.

Working Hours to be agreed during the application process. Ideally 10 to 20 hours a week, normally within the hours of 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. There can be flexibility with this times if it benefical for the applicant to work other hours. However, there will need to be some overlap with the stated hours when working with the founder.

Although the role is stated as summer intern, there will be a review at the end of August and if both parties agree, this can be extended. Ideally the successful applicant would start on 1st August, 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement marketing automation strategies using chatbot and IT technology.

  • Learn about and contribute to affiliate marketing projects.

  • Assist in creating and editing videos for social media.

  • Engage in various other business and tech-related tasks

Requirements

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, ideally with past or current tech-based business ideas.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies.

  • A strong commitment to fully engage with the opportunity and contribute value to projects.

  • Ability to work remotely and meet periodically in St Albans, Hertfordshire or London.

  • Own PC or laptop to work from and an internet connection for video calls
